About Victory House
Victory House is a faith-based minority non-profit owned by Morgan Park Church. It is a discipleship for women who have been abused or who have been diagnosed as alcoholics or substance abusers,. Many have a history of domestic violence or dependency issues. It is a residential recovery support program designed to provide women with the tools needed to live a productive life and raise their children in a healthy environment. We are also a social service agency that provides structured housing, case management, and recovery support services to adult women.
Mission
The mission of Victory House provides effective recovery support services to adult women with alcohol, substance and co-occurring mental health issues, domestic violence services.
Which include but are not limited to; recovery housing, life skills development, housing, employment assistance and other recovery support services. Victory House will provide women with the tools needed to live a Victorious life using high level principles. Touching, and developing the life of the woman, through mentorship and career development.
Vision
The vision of Victory House is to provide quality substance abuse/counseling services to those in communities with the least available resources.

The Program

Intro
Intro” consists of initial training. Mentoring and discipleship. This takes places onsite at the residence located in Chicago, IL and will last approximately 9 months. The classes taken during this initial phase will focus on health wellness and morals education as well as identifying her strengths and weaknesse goal -setting , as well as group and one on one counseling.

Balance and Stability
“Balance and Stability” to further develop her discharge plan, and to further establish a healthy lifestyle to support transition to the community. During Phase 2, she will plan to incorporate goals for eventual transition to the community. She should be looking for viable employment during this phase. Classes taken during this phase will focus on “Rebuilding the
Inner You” and “Identifying Your Gifts and Talents” which will place her in pursuit of her purpose in life. Approximately 3 months.

Transistion
“Transition” to enter the transition phase, the client will write up an action plan to work
on fiscal literacy, housing search, and other goals for transition to the community. It is during the
“Transition Phase” that the female client will focus on residential development.
